SDG Clean and Affordable Energy

SDG Clean and Affordable Energy

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are proposals set by the United Nations to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all,  and are part of a new sustainable development agenda.

Each of the 17 goals has specific targets that are set to be met globally by 2030.

At Obres Tècniques Lloret we carry out several actions to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), such as Clean and Affordable Energy SDG.

Energy is basic in almost all great challenges and opportunities in today’s world, and access to it is essential. Therefore, in the construction sector we must consider new buildings, both those dedicated to industry, and those intended for housing, as energy sources, promoting renewable energy in all areas, and also prioritizing the structural measures such as the energy rehabilitation of buildings, optimizing existing buildings to save resources.

One of our most recent projects, for the integration of sustainable energy is the robotic warehouse of Henkel Ibérica & Solvia, in Montornés del Vallès. In this project, in addition to focussing on digitalization and industry 4.0, with a state-of-the-art automated warehouse, a photovoltaic installation was made on the roof of the logistics centre, in order to generate its own energy. This energy can be self-consumed, stored or dumped on the grid.

We all have a great social and environmental responsibility, and from Obres Tècniques Lloret we are committed to carrying out the actions to ensure it.
